Pure silver is too soft to be crafted into daily-wear jewellery. 925 sterling silver is an alloy of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals (usually copper) that add the durability and strength needed for everyday pieces.

We recommend removing silver jewellery before showering, swimming (in pools or the ocean) or working out. Chlorine, salt water, sweat and perfume can rapidly accelerate tarnishing and damage delicate gemstones.
